I like gmail and I like Konqueror but the latter is not “supported” by the former. And let’s face it, the plain html version of gmail is worthless. To get the full functioning gmail in an unsupported browser like Konqueror, use this url:
http://mail.google.com/mail/?nocheckbrowser
yeah, it’s buggy, but it’s fun to play with.
Also try out gmail in lynx. it’s like a web bases console email client. well…no…that’s exactly what it is.
UPDATE 2007.03.06:
Another way to get full functioning gmail in Konqueror is to change Konqueror’s browser identification for that page:
Tools > Change Browser Identification > Other > Firefox X.XX
According to the Kubuntu website, the new version of Kubuntu (Feisty Fawn, final release April 19th) will automatically do this for you in Konqueror.

I am a proud Gmail user. Never worrying about email size, incredibly fast reply (powered by AJAX, a technology often used by Google), Web Clips,
automatic forwarding, one button - click search, advanced filters, labels and not folders, message preview, automatic refresh, auto-save messages,as-good-as-yahoomail spam filters, not one executable to be sent or received, feeling of having a different technology? A definite recommendation for
anyone that reads more than one email per day.
Have you tried Gmail? If yes, what's your taste on it? Why do you love it/hate it?
