Why Data Dump? Well, because I have a ton of random articles for my cubicled brothers and sisters out there. So here’s what I’ve been thinking about:
- DIY Carbonation
From Instructables, how to make your own carbonated beverages without buying an expensive machine. Fascinating. - World’s Smallest Pong game
From Make, a step by step on how it was achieved. There seems to be a lot of effort put into creating and recreating pong in interesting ways. Pong is a good game and certainly a good place to start, but wouldn’t it be more practical to make tetris games? I mean there’s a game you could play all day. - Toga for Women
Well done, toga-for-women inventing lady. Not only is this a helpful instructable and a good distraction during the workday, but also kudos on Toga Tequilla Tuesday. I’d go so far as to equate the combining of togas, tequlla, and tuesdays with genius. - Keith’s Electronics Blog
Via Make. I approve…well done Keith. If you are at all like me, this site will turn into the rest of your day. - Tablet from a Touchpad
Now THIS (from Instructables) is cool…and useful. I think this is a great start and I’m thinking about developing the idea further. This could just be me again avoiding just buying a wacom already. - Small Cars
LOVE it. Hundreds of images of some of the smallest cars ever made. The other articles on this site are awesome too: like the heavy seas series. - Drinking Glasses from Wine Bottles
Not sure why I like this so much, but I do. The end results are awesome.
Other things I’ve been thinking about recently are stenciling and Wordpress-mu. Stenciling for whatever reason has become popular recently and I wish Wordpress-mu would become popular so that there were more than like 100 people working on it worldwide. Enjoy your Friday.
