I recently signed up with Alternate URL and am very happy with it so far. Here’s how it works. When you set up a Google Adsense advertisement to display on your website or blog there is a question near the end that asks you weather you would like to display a public service ad (PSA) or ads from another url. The default is to display the PSA’s, but if you click on the alternate url radio button that’s when things get interesting:
Alternate URL provides you a link that you can put there. When google doesn’t have a paying ad to put on your site, instead of showing nothing it will show an ad from Alternate URL.
Alternate URL pays for clicks via PayPal and costs nothing to use. So far I can see that I’m getting page impressions when I would have otherwise had a blank spot on my blog. This is an easy way to make money you should be making anyways.
